Delton G. Demaree, 82, went to be with the Lord July 25, 2012.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was self-employed as a tile layer, and worked as a janitor at Washington Schools in Westfield. He loved basketball and baseball, especially the World Series.
Delton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith; children, Debra Demaree, David Demaree; step-children, Michael Ellis and Linda Bennett; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Martha Demaree.
Friends and family may call from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Harry W. Moore Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial with military rites will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
